This is the first part of my new Java EE Tutorial. In this Video I show how to install and integrate Glassfish into Eclipse. After that I will create the first example app.

  1. How do you do to generate those xhtml codes? you seem to click on something or use some keyboard shortcuts but I can't find them, I had to pause the video and copy the code manually, which is not helping knowing that the code is long and we can't see anything.

  2. If anyone else runs into the following error using JDK 8 and Glassfish 4:

    cannot Deploy FirstApp
    deploy is failing=Application with name [FirstApp] is not deployed

    Solve it by right clicking your Glassfish server -> Monitoring -> Properties -> Glassfish and check Use JAR archives for deployment

  3. Followed everything step by step the only difference is I'm using glassfish 4 with JDK 8, got this error message when trying to run:

    cannot Deploy FirstApp

  4. Hi, I did exactly the same you did, but i didnt get the same Result, i had this errormessage :

    I am a beginner in JAVA EE Developing, i hope u can help me out to solve this problem.
